Tom Brady and the New England Patriots provided John Goehrke with a unique opportunity, and now he's running with it.
Goehrke won a date with tennis star Genie Bouchard after they agreed to a bet on Twitter over whether the Patriots could mount a comeback in Super Bowl LI. They did and Bouchard kept her word, organizing an outing to an NBA game between the Brooklyn Nets and Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday night.
TMZ captured the two exiting Barclays Center and, according to Bouchard, the evening went so well that there will "for sure" be a second date.

seems like a publicity stunt. let them "date" a while for the PR points...heck I can't even remember the last time I heard of Bouchard on the news, she really fell off the map after that freak accident.
and if it is 100% legit then yea props to that guy. he didnt even bother dressing up so perhaps he did go for the "normal guy" angle. i would have probably just sat beside her awkwardly for 10 minutes and then chugged 10 beers and passed out.

Not sure how I'd feel about being paraded as a human marketing tool... then again, if it gets me an inch closer to Bouchard she can use me as a door mat for all I care.
