I'm thinking of making this offer to offset some positional deficiencies (I'm deep at C) and to make a run for it this year. Is it fair? Too much? He already offered me Hall for Malkin so he might be willing to listen.

I actually think you're giving up too much in this deal. Is it keeper? If so then definitely not. If it isn't, then it's closer but I'd still say no.
