Both promising young D men. Who do you like better for the future? Especially considering future role and ice time.

Haven't seen much of Kyle Wood but Deangelo looked very good the times I watched him. I dropped him in my pts keeper at start of the year but am wishing I didn't.

Too early to tell with Wood.

DeAngelo looks shifty but I don't have a great read on him yet.

if deangelo's not-talent-related issues don't ruin him, he'll be a great offensive dman. the only thing that might stop him from being elite is having ekman-larsson in front of him, but deangelo should still get plenty of offensive playing time. would probably keep him from being a 50 point dman like his talent suggests, but still will be quite valuable. if this happens, wood could be a top 4 dman, but won't be putting up very many points (i'd say, max 30-35). he is huge, so if it's a league that counts peripherals, he should have some value. it's not the talent that's the problem, but the opportunity.
if deangelo winds up as a bust, then wood will take his spot. not nearly as much offensive talent, but he has been putting up great numbers as a rookie in the ahl, and that's usually a pretty good indicator. another good sign is that he's getting plenty of PP minutes, which tells me that the coyotes organization sees him as an offensive threat.
personally, i signed him in one of my leagues earlier this season.
