    Default XBH in H2H leagues

In a league where we have been using the following cats for a while:

    R, 2B, HR, RBI, SB, BB, K, E, Avg

We actually used to have a separate 3B category but people were winning like 1-0 or 2-1....

Trying to get the commish to change 2B to XBH but I'm wondering....does that inflate the HR hitters too much?? For a HR you're already getting points in 4 categories, with potentially multiple RBI....

HR hitters are always a prime target. In my one league where we count it, it's balanced out by also having OBP as a category. That way the guys like Votto, Dee Gordon (and the other base stealers) still have some solid value in their own category.
In your setup I could see it shifting the balance a little too much though.

Hmmm ya the commish is probably getting rid of 2B, K and E already ....so removing BB as well would be a lot I think.

    I do like it though.

I agree OPS is a good one to have too.

My leagues R, HR, RBI, SB, OPS, W, ERA, WHIP, K/9, Sv+H. So it’s a solid 5/5 split. And with K/9 and not K’s it lowed the streaming that happened in our league, and raised the value of RPs which were 2 things we had a lot of trouble within the first 2 yrs of our keeper league.

I like the idea of K/9 as well. Hate streaming especially in playoffs....but if my leagues allow it and I'll potentially benefit from it then I'll do what I have to.
