Default Price for Crawford and Josi

Fellow GM has floated me a trade in which I would give Crawford and Josi/Subban (either one) for Price (and a low level D as filler). Is this a deal you would make? League in signature. I would much prefer to move Bishop I think and add another piece like one of my centers as I will only likely keep 2 of the 4 I have.

I am really horrible at goalie trades as their value can fluctuate so much year to year with our stats (3 points for a win). It really become more about the team than the skill level of the goaltender and knowing what teams are going to be at the top of the standings is a tough slog most years (Columbus case in point).

According to your stats a 0.8 save % = 0 points so anythibg over equals a gain? Would think that makes goalies pretty damn valuable? Personally i would see if they would do Bishop and give them the choice of Josi or Subban for Price...

I would be focusing on trades that add a 2nd stud G to your keeper core, rather than trading Crawford for a player who is probably fairly comparable in production whilst also sending away one of your 4 stud Ds.

I like and with him Montreal = Price, for the most part. I do think not giving up Crawford, if you can pull that off makes sense, but would be willing to do the move for Price. Still prefer the Dubnyk idea, though.

Could you somehow do both, though?!

Just looking at all my options right now. Not going to pull the trigger on anything just yet. I too prefer the Dubnyk trade. Difference is the Dubnyk owner is in 3rd place, I am in first. He may not want to give me any edge, whereas the Price owner is out of it this year and trying to rebuild for next season. I am simply in conversation with these owners and I am trying to gauge all my options

Yes, goalies are very valuable indeed. I don't think Bishop and Josi/Subban would be too much to pay for an elite goalie in this league, especially as I can only keep 10 and need to pare down my keepers anyway.
