I’ve been to all three you said @stuntman. NYC was fun. I can see the allure for people moving there. Italy was beautiful in Florence and Rome, I was underwhelmed by Venice. I just couldn’t get past the smell. Vegas was a lot of fun, but a blur. I went on my final reading week of college, so it was a drunken haze, but I would and will do it again.
On my list of places:
Australia, South America, Iceland, back to Germany, and Austria again for an extended visit. Oh and old Cuba before it gets too Americanized. All the places I wanna go are for site seeing, not to lounge around.

No desire to go to any of the big cities.
I'd love to quit work for a few months and hit up some longer hiking trails like the Greater Patagonia, the Pacific Crest Trail, the Appalachian trail. Hell, there's enough big trails in Canada to keep me entertained for life!

Going to the Galapagos Islands in the spring, so I can cross that off the top of my list. After that the Nordic countries like Finland and Sweden are next on my list, as well as New Zealand.

Mongolia... ever since I read my first book on Ghenghis Khan I've been obsessed with travelling to this country. They now have eco-tours you can do where you can travel by Mongolian horse into the country and stay with families and see how Mongolians actually live off the land today. Other tours take you to nomadic Mongolians as they travel with the seasons & there's another longer excursion that takes you on the trail Ghenghis Khan took on his way out of Mongolia and onto world domination.

I know most readers are from Canada, but I'm nevertheless shocked that I've yet to see a response with some form of "as far away from Donald Trump as possible".
