Canadian music to listen to
So I want to know if anyone knows of any new(ish) Canadian bands that perhaps people do not know of, to expand my music library and find some gems. I feel I do not know enough awesome Canadian bands
Now I am not talking about the classics (ie. Rush, Tragically Hip, Guess Who, Niel Young, etc.), not awful stuff (ie. Nickelback, other shitty pop bands) but I am talking about newerish music, preferably of the music playing variety (ie. So no Drake, etc). Sort of related to the music below, so if anyone has some to highlight please post. Thanks

One of Canada's best rock-blues band - racking up tons of awards both here and abroad. Great ZZ top sound here.

A local Nanaimo band that SHOULD be getting regular radio play... One was my neighbor for the past 6 years until I recently moved, another a friend of my wife's from high school.
The LION, BEAR, FOX. just released a new album. used to be three solo folk/rock guys, ended up touring same venues same time and decided to band-up... if they come to your town/city. CHECK THEM OUT. They're comfortable with the crowd and put on a show.
The Fox - Ryan McMahon, also had a song I'll be Damned on season 7 of Californication (tv show)
