Default FOS - Faulk or Letang

    Hey Guys,

    I need help again here.

I just used my 5th (out of 10 for the whole season) waiver wire claim yesterday in order to drop Morgan Rielly for Justin Faulk.

I'm in a points-only league in which we do not have any bench or injured reserve spots.

I have four defensemen (Burns, Hedman, Werenski and Faulk) but a friend of mine jsut dropped Letang and I just read he skated last Friday.

Would you use another claim to drop Faulk (or Werenski?) for Letang?

What would be your expectations for thos guys for the ROS?

    Thanks !!

Tough. Roster restrictions being so tight and Letang being Letang, I don't know if I'd want to use a claim to grab him only for him to end up on IR again with no IR slots.

If there are always defenders of this or comparable value on the wire frequently, it may be worth the risk but I'm not sure I'd bank on him playing this week anyhow. Werenski injury looked like it could be bad but I'd wait for a bit more news.

    Letang is worth owning.
Is there a F you could drop instead though and run with 5 D? If not and another of your D gets hurt (Big risk with Letang, Faulk, Hedman), then having 5 would mean you don't have to use another move.

No bench and no IR. Letang skated Friday but it's conceivable that he may be close to two weeks away.

Out of your d I'd probably drop Werenski right now for him but agree with EB that carrying an extra d man in lieu of a forward may be better roster management with limited moves

    Thanks for the answers.

    I can't have 5 D and I don't have a bench or IR. :/
