Ya, with your stats I would take Matthews for the rest of this year. You have some pretty good position flexibility so it shouldn't hurt you too much trading a winger for a center.
It's close though in a 1-year league.

I agree with runnert - you've got too many "C" only players already. You'll end up sitting a guy too often to make this trade worthwhile.

I disagree that the # of centers he currently has should be a factor in whether or not to get Matthews. If you add Matthews you can switch Koivu or Trochek out for a winger or dman from the free agent pool - I am guessing there are some options. That would give him 4 C's for 3 spots (2 C and 1 UTIL slot). Malkin and Matthews in the C spots, Bergeron in the UTIL, and Trochek/Koivu as the bench option.
