His numbers would be even better if the moronic coach would take Hoffman off the checking line and reunite him with Stone where he belongs.

Was going to bring up the same point as Bread Man, that S% of 22% is not sustainable, so he's likely headed for some regression in goals scored. His PDO is right around 100, so I would expect his assist totals to remain consistent, although they could go either way. Given this, I think he will be very hard pressed to reach 70, but we'll see what he can do!

Lending some credence to him being undervalued, his Corsi is solid at almost 55%, and relative to Ottawa's overall struggles as a team (45%), he is +10! He is a big part of their team and contributes to driving a significant amount of play for them as one of their most valuable players. Selke wise, I think the lack of PK time eliminates him from that discussion.

    Points-only keeper league. 12 teams. Keep any 12 players. Dress 12F - 6D - 2G.

Naw. Stone's line has been very good and it's better to spread the offense to other lines because Stone can make anybody play better. Zack Smith is a PPG player with Stone lately. Last year Stone beasted down the stretch with Smith and Pageau.

Just because Hoffman is with another duo doesn't make it a checking line. He's been scoring just fine. The coach seems to know what he's doing.

Awesome player who I'd say is a perennial 65-ish point guy. Could be 70-75 with more support up front. Loved seeing him with Scheifele at the Worlds. They were such a good compliment to one another.

    +1 to them looking weird.

Well, Henrik at least. Daniel is a pretty normal looking guy.

I just traded Foligno for Stone... so he best be a 70pt player moving forward.

Sorry, I thought I saw something for a sec there...

Stone is one of the best 2-way players in the game, no doubt. Love his game.

I have a hard time believing anyone could watch about a dozen or so (more would be better), and not come away with the realization that Stone is one of the very most intelligent on ice hockey key minds in the game today. Sometimes, depending on a number of variables, the points could inflate or deflate. I feel there are a number of NHLers who are considered 70 pt players that I do not rank above Stone.

He must have come on here and read my criticisms of his shot totals... 3 SOG already in first 3 minutes of this game.

    Keep it up old boy!
