NOT Trading Crosby, But Need Help For Counter Offer!
Background Story: Commish processed a trade last night and I jokingly responded saying "Matthews for Crosby!", alluding to his power to control our rosters. Despite laughing it off, he did send me an offer of Matthews and Atkinson for Crosby to see if I'd be stupid enough to take it.
Obviously not interested but he does have some pieces I'd like to make a move for, particularly in goal.
Looking to send a counter offer back for one of Jones or Lundqvist or maybe even a defenseman. What's a good offer?

In this league/situation I think Mathews and Jones would do it for me. You've easily got the depth at C to absorb a downgrade but the upgrade and consistency added in goal with such a move could land you a championship.

I really hate trading the best player away though. Especially when he would have Ovechkin, Malkin, Karlsson and Crosby.

Keep Sid. Think your team is stronger with him than without. And I believe Laine is back tonight and will help out. Perhaps Murray for Jones or one D + goalie swap b/w teams. Although he's thin after Karlsson.

I need to improve in goal though. Would lundy be a better one to trade for? Know the GM has had it with him. Might command a lesser price.

I think he is justified in being frustrated with Lundqvist and for me I'm staying away right now
