Default Predicting Keepers for next year

    Hey Guys

This year my League is doing an expansion draft where we get to keep 9 skaters from our roster + 1 goalie (farm players are exempt)

It's the league in sig so after the expansion draft it will be going back to 25 keepers.

I have about 12-13 guys in mind to keep and obviously things could change between now and then but if you had to keep 9 out of the following who would it be, stats are in sig.

    Seguin
    Wheeler
    Marchand
    Lucic
    Johansen
    Kadri
    Simmonds
    B Schenn
    Jenner
    Erik Karlsson
    Carlson
    Josi
    Muzzin

Thanks in advance for any repsonses

Lucic, Kadri, Jenner and Muzzin would be my drops from that list.

By the way, you need to trade Holtby or Dubnyk, you can't just leave either of them unprotected. I hope you're thinking about that already.

I agree with Jouko's list and definitely think that your goalie overload is the bigger deal right now.

I agree with the 3 to drop, and would say that you want do the goalie deal in enough time to figure out who is going with them to upgrade a keeper spot massively.

Issue with the goalie deal now, though I agree with the advice, is won't you need the. For your end of season?

thanks guys, pretty much my thoughts as well

And regarding the goalie situation, yes I will likely need dubnyk

Forgot to mention that the league counts end of year stats, so with dubnyk and holtby I have goaltending locked up.

Ideally i'd trade dubnyk at the deadline but will have to wait and see, may end up losing one at the deadline but hey the championship is worth it
