Better to Keep Talbot or Schnieder

So I get to keep 1 goalie for next year. Goalie scoring is W(4pts), SV(0.2pts), GA(-1pt) and SHO(2pt), so goalies are important. As the trade deadline for my league approaches I am wondering what my best keeper option is. I currently have Schnieder, Talbot and Crawford on my roster. All year I have considered Crawford my keeper, but with Edmonton on the upswing and Talbot the uncontested #1 for that team, and with Chicago looking less and less like a juggernaut I am wondering if I need to rethink the ranking of my goalies. How would you rank them going forward?

Still Schneider long term by a fair margin I'd say. However, from now until the end of this season, Talbot may be a safer bet.

Schneider over Crawford and Talbot? Really? Hmmm... I think that Schneider is maybe the best goalie of the bunch but I don't see NJ getting many wins in the near future.

Interesting I just traded Talbot for Schneider in my second league in signature. Schneider is the best goalie, it really depends how this rebuild goes down for them. Is it a retool or a full on rebuild? Zacha needs to develop and Rykov needs to come over for them to expediate this process.

It's tough to say with goalies, they are so volatile. I tend to stick with talent for that reason.

Schnieder is hands down the most talented of the three, but lacks in wins due to the team he plays on.

I would take Crawford over Talbot based on track record. Edmonton only has 1/2 a season of decent play under their belts, so until they've shown a little more, I'd stick with Crawford.

Not hard to argue for any of the three though.

Based on talent as other's have said, I'd flip that upside down.

Wins are as dependent on the team in front of you as they are the goalie.
Schneider is last here. That team is not going up anytime soon.

Right now, I take Talbot. As McDavid, Draisaitl an the other kids get better with age, the team gets better. And they are already quite good. And they seem content to ride Talbot 65-70 games. He currently leads the league in SV's and Games started and is tied for 2nd in wins.

Chicago is good. But they have nowhere to go but down in the next few years.

NJ is already down and not going u again anytime soon barring massive changes. The team absolutely could not afford to lose Larsson, but I would have made that trade for Hall too. But the trickle down on Defense as a whole is staggering, while you can see massive improvement in Edm.

Before this season started, many were calling me crazy for all my posts predicting the changes in Edmonton were finally going to turn it around this year and urging people to think twice before dropping Talbot. but it is happening. Talbot is a top ranked goalie.

Talbot needs to start getting some more love he is providing solid value right now and has been since second half last season. The sample size is large enough now taking that prior season's second half into consideration that he is a legit starter and true definition of a workhorse as nobody starts more than him. Oilers are going to get better faster than NJ so I think I would keep Cam; plus he has no reliable backup behind him a la Chad Johnson to pilfer his starts. Sometimes it's usage that really forces your hand and you can't get a goalie that starts like he does and that drives his value.

where your league doesn't count GAA or SVPCT. AND it's 4pts for a WIN -- I want Talbot every time. Edmonton is trending up, where New Jersey is treading water.

Schneider maybe the better actual goalie, but Talbot's going to give you more wins every year. More wins = more points = better own.
