Default Do you consider yourself a fantasy hockey expert?

what is the scouting report on your fantasy hockey knowledge?

Pts only leagues are probably the only leagues im good at, never done well with roto or h2h leagues. I even entered a 250 dollar pts league where i been sitting in 5th place for quite some time now (15 managers).

ARE YOU AN EXPERT OR WAT.......

I don't consider myself an expert at all. I have had a lot of success but that's more about determination and investing my time in the right places.

I don’t think I am at all. But in my other leagues I use these forums and ask questions to make myself look smart.

I do however invest time into drafts, and try to maximize my output/week (picking players up and dropping them for one game to pick up the guy I really want).

No. I don't have the time, energy, or interest in becoming a fantasy hockey expert. I think I could if I wanted. I'd rather be an expert in several other things before fantasy hockey.

I consider myself proficient within the confines of my particular league, which is the only one I've ever been in. But even there I've made quite a few poor decisions which I've come to regret.

I frankly don't have the time to watch (or read up on) enough hockey to be considered "expert".

Which is why I come here.

When it comes to fantasy hockey, I'd say I know a lot about at least a few things, and at least a few things about a lot.

I'm just opinionated enough that some possibly think I am... but I'm far from it. If I was I wouldn't make any awful trades... and I still do.

Socrates will make me say that I don't know anything but screw him. I'm an expert. A hockey expert. I watch so many games, read so many in-depth articles, played the game for so long that I'm fairly confident in my hockey knowledge.

I think the standard is pretty high. I'm in a deep 18 teamer and I know most of the tricks of drafting, h2h, fantasy playoffs etc. I would consider myself an "expert" to someone new to fantasy, but my knowledge isn't any more than the majority of the people on this forum.

I don't know guys. I think all of us who've frequented this site for a long time are experts. There's really only so much one can know about fantasy hockey in my opinion. So much of it is just being a hardcore fan and understanding the way individual players play the game. To me that's more important than advanced statistic monitoring and projections.

At the end of the day the so-called "experts" are throwing darts just as much as we are, they just know how to dress it up nicely and effectively support their thoughts.

Like to think i know my way around the rink so to speak. this community has been instrumental in my development. Like anyone, i've made some dumb trades and some very good ones.
Hockey Pools? Too many to mention. Points only, salary cap and dynasty.
