Talbot or Holtby for Tavares+?

A GM wants to know what I want in addition to Tavares for either Talbot or Holtby. What do I ask for? Holtby and Talbot are beasts in our format, currently 3rd and 7th among all players.

i would ask for Tavares + Voracek for Talbot.

try and keep from trading Holtby if possible, he is proven Tier 1, Talbot is not.

Agree with sending Talbot... Would love to ask for Burns but you are more likely to get Tavares and Voracek

I agree with EB. I'd be happy to get Tavares for Talbot. Anything more is just great.

I would also prefer to keep Holtby, but if you can get Tavares+Burns for him, I'd definitely do it.

Normally I would be all over trading Talbot for Tavares and anything you could get added in would be a bonus. But goalies make up a huge chunk of your points for this league especially when you have a true #1 like Talbot. Wins are worth 4(!) points. You would definitely need to take another goalie back from him and Allen/Markstrom/Luongo just won't get you the same kind of production that Talbot will. Even your third goalie (Murray) doesn't look to be running away with the starters gig anytime soon.

If you can get a crazy overpayment like Burns or Voracek thrown in, then I might consider it, but it still leaves you short in net and you would end up having to shed a skater to replace that position.

Goalies are worth a lot more than forwards in our format as I mentioned, so Talbot for Tavares straight up is not something I consider.
Based on your feedback I've told the other GM that I'll do the following deals;
Tavares + Voracek for Talbot
Tavares + Burns for Holtby

I understand that different leagues may weigh goalies differently, but goalies are voodoo!
If you can get multiple players then great, but be wary of who you may have to drop to roster the +

See the trend? Goalies are super valuable... e.g. Murray vs. WSH got me 1.2 pts, even though he had 7 GA in 28 SOG... that's almost the same as an apple for a D/FW.
