Seguin or Scheifele
Who would you guys rather have moving forward in a points only keeper pool . First reaction for me is Seguin but Scheifele has a very promising future
with that Winnipeg team . I'm thinking this year Seguin but moving through the next couple years Scheifele will out produce Seguin by a little bit.
What do you guys think ?

Seguin has proven over the past few years that he is elite. Scheifele CAN BECOME elite. If he does, I doubt he outpoints Seguin so why take the risk...

Seguin has posted 33+ Goals and 40+ assists in each of the last three seasons. Only Benn has done so as well. Granted, this is a points league, so Seguin's goal prowess is less remarkable. But even still - that only adds Crosby to the list. Long story short, Seguin IS a special player. Scheifele likely will be one too, but I'll take Seguin's sure thing status given that he's not near an age when he might start to see his stats drop.

Seguin will outproduce Scheifele for years to come, especially in pts only. There is no way around that. If you wanted to split hairs though, Seguin has had several injuries / surgery, and Scheifele is quite sturdy with a great attendance record so far.
Like any gambling, would you rather lean towards the most reliable play or the biggest payout? I wouldn't over think it --> don't pass on seguin

I am going to go against the grain and say Scheifele is equal to Seguin. I have been high on him for awhile and see his ceiling as higher than it now.
He was the hot player in the league last year for the last 30 games. Had an injury and was stuck with meh players on 2nd line, but once little went down, he took the ball from Little permanently. Had 34 points in the last 26 games as he and Ehlers started to gel and got top line icetime and PP time.
He is continuing the same level performance this year. Ehlers is too for that matter. Ehlers keeps getting better. Most jets fans have been saying Ehlers is the guy driving the offense moreso than Laine or Scheifele. But non Jet's fans often think Ehlers is the 3rd wheel. Truth is, that will be a dynamic trio for years to come. You cannot go wrong with either guy here.
