    Default Fantasy league setup help

    Hey guys,

I wanted to see if anyone uses anything other than yahoo or fantrax for their leagues? Just looking for suggestions that are reasonably priced, And have flexible rules/tracking settings.
Any ideas and reasons why are greatly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance!

Tried an espn league once. Never again. Couldn't stand the system.
I think I'm just used to yahoo though. That's all I use now for my 8 leagues.

How do you track off season moves when Yahoo closes for the summer?

Some it's just by email (then an updated spreadsheet sent out when Yahoo opens again), and others with a separate forum website. Every league finds what works for them.

Thats what I/we used to do....but now I'd rather pay the $80 fantrax asks for and never have to manually update a single thing.

Forum and fantrax - TBH it's difficult as some forums are more engaging than others but depending on the size of your teams etc I find a forum really helps with large squads

Thanks boys. Yeah looks like it's fantrax then. We've been using yahoo but it's getting to tedious to track. Wasn't sure if espn or cbs etc were viable options

As far as fantrax, how do moves work? Are they daily?

Fantrax can be daily or weekly, it's however you'd like to set it up, fantrax has a ridiculous amount of customization. They also never shutdown so there is no need to manually track anything really.

We don't use the farm system but I would bet that fantrax does track that information, it tracks add drops trades and lineup changes so it would make sense that it does track farm movement.

I would suggest opening a free experimental league with fantrax and play around with the settings.

I'm not sure how your league works but in my league I can see when GMs are making roster moves.

It's under TRANSACTIONS - TRANSACTIONS HISTORY

There you can see claims/drops, trades and lineup changes.

Well yeah you can see it but it won't set a cap or limit as of now (at least to my understanding)
