Default Who will be the best long term

I need to release a D from my farm team and I want to keep the best for the next 5 years. Who should I keep...

Severson : is having a correct year ...
Zadorov : still learning the PRO hockey I guess...

    Thanks!

What are your scoring categories? In a points-only league, I'd go with Severson, but just in case you have multiple or uncommon categories and scoring, it's best you list them out to get the best answer here.
Keeper league 14 teams (H2H, 20 active players keep 16 NHLers, 16 minors)
    Scoring Cats: G-A-PTS-PPG-PPA-(+/-)-HITS-BLK-SHP-SOG-FOW-GWG / W-L-SVS-SV%-GAA-SO

C- Crosby, Barzal, Bennett, Schmaltz, Novak
W- Forsberg, Batherson, Nichuskin, Tuch, Konecny, Maccelli, Sharangovich, Bertuzzi, Kaliyev, Neighbours, Reichel
    D- Carlson, Rielly, Klingberg
    G- Hellebuyck, Demko, Merzlikins, Vejmelka

    Minors:
F: Fantilli, Cooley, Bourgault, Perreault, Cowan, Ohgren, N. Foote, Goyette, Iskhakov, Denisenko, Tracey
    D: Simashev, Willander, Lambos
G: Schmidt, Rodrigue, DiPietro, Gaudreau, McKay

    Go with Severson.

Too many question marks surrounding Zadorov.

I think Zadorov will be the better player for hits and blocks but won't be nearly as good of a points producer as Severson. I guess you have to figure out where you need the category wins to come from. If your team is soft on the hits and block going forward then Zadorov is your guy. If you have already own plenty of thumpers, then go with Severson for the offense.
