Default What scoring format do you prefer for goalies ?

Our 1 year league will become a limited keeper. Point based scoring. I received some great input from the forums regarding Forward/Dmen scoring categories and weighting.

I'm having trouble coming up with goalie categories and appropriate weighting for each stat.
    Considered W(3), Saves(.5), GA(-1), S/O(3), OTL(1)

The problem I'm having is with the goalie scoring values.
    Minnesoata beats Colorado 2-1.
Dubnyk makes 18 saves, plus the win, 3pts win, -.5 GA, +3.6 saves = 6.1 pts
Vary makes 40 saves in the loss, -1 GA, +8 saves = 7 pts
Doesn't make sense to me that the winning goalie gets less points ?

Would appreciate knowing your goalie categories and points for each stat. Whether you like it or what would you change.
I'd like to come up with 4-5 scoring categories if possible. Not really a fan of -minus for goals against.

    All input greatly appreciated, cheers

    You mean 0.2 for saves?

    I use w+0.5*OTL-1L-.25*GA+0.05SV+2SO+A

Works very well, comparable to players (though in recent defensive era, goalies are starting to creep up a bit)

From my forum and daily rambling reading you are involved in a Points only keeper where the points move with the player.
Would you be so kind as to provide me with those settings. Slainte mhaith

I have run various numbers through FHG.
    Seems W(2), OTL(1), SO(1), SV(.1)
    G(3), A(2), PPP(1), Sog(.1), Hits(.1), Blks(.1) works not too bad.

For what it's worth, my points only league on Fantrax used this and most liked it:

    W - 3
    GA - -0.3
    SV - 0.1
    SO - 1
    OTL - 1

I don't know why but it usually seemed to reflect a goalie's performance

12 team H2H Most Cats Wins; Keep 6/winner keeps 7; G A PPP +/- SHP SOG HIT BLK PIM // W SV GAA SV% SHO
