    Default Rinne vs Bishop ROS

Rinne owner has added him to his trade block. I'm thinking of offering Bishop to him for his Rinne. Would this be a good move for me?

I think it's a lateral move at best. Bishop is apparently still a couple weeks away from returning but you have good goalies in house already so it's not like you need a starter today.

I think I'd hold Bishop if it was me.

I'm surprised guys. I think the extra few weeks of having Rinne, plus having him more as a sure thing for getting starts would outweigh the drop from Bishop to him. So I would probably go for Rinne.

You could also try starting with a smaller F or something, then fill your spot start slot with Rinne, plus have Bishop when he comes back.

I would also agree with EB. Take Rinne here. He will get you starts for sure whereas Bishop will be in a timeshare

If I truly thought Bishop would be a timeshare goalie when he got back then I would agree with you, but I don't think he will be. I think he gets 70% of the starts when he gets back. Plus, are you really going to start Rinne over Holtby on same night starts? Are you going to start anyone over Holtby given the choice?

I should have elaborated on my post - I also agree with this.

With how bad Vas has been I think he goes back to getting 1/3 starts at best.

Some good points there, though I think you mis-read the signature (I know I did at first) it's a keep 1G, not start 1G. So you don't have to choose Holtby over Rinne/Bishop, you can choose both.
I still say if I had to choose one ROS it would be Rinne over Bishop, but you have opened my eyes to another option.

The SNT has Tampa with 51 games left that don't fall on and EDM & WSH game night, and NSH with 54. If you take out the time that Bishop misses, then it's a decent gap in number of games. It could also be worth looking into the other goalies that would play the most games:
    Pittsburgh: 61
    ANA: 60
    Cal: 59

Depending on how many from each position get rostered each day, maybe trading Bishop for a F or D would serve you better?

Thanks everyone. I can however only have 3 goalies on my roster. So when Bishop comes back, I would need to drop one of Bishop or Rinne. Obviously not the best scenario...
