Still can't make up my mind

I posted a thread a little fast the other day and didn't explain myself very well.

I can only start 1 goalie per night for a max of 82 games.

2 for a win 3 for a shutout. So only 42 games left for him. I lost Halak and have Hellebuick.

My options are Elliott 2.5M or Ward 3M

Or I drop Jussi Jokinen 4M (bench player) and pick up with Andersen 5M or Crawford 6M and make Hellboy backup.


Is Andersen or Crawford gonna get me that many more points than a combination of Elliot/Ward/Helleboy?

Does Crawford get me 5-7 wind more than the lower tier guys?

When it comes to individual stats: yes.

When it comes to total number of starts: yes.

When it comes to wins: I think Andersen ends up with ~5-8 more.

Ward has really bounced back this season. If you want to save money, go with him.

If you want a few more wins, buy into Andersen.

Crawford is just too expensive for a goalie that will only get 55-60 starts. Andersen is going to start 5-10 more games and might end up with more wins because of it.

You're not really losing anything with dropping Jokinen, so I would do that and pick up Crawford.
