Keeper Status/Goalie Upgrade: Frederik Anderson vs. Chad Johnson/Ryan Getslaf

The last place team is tanking and I have a chance to Acquire Frederik Anderson off of him. My goalies have for some reason not been performing this season... I'm just getting unlucky and can't even seem to win the sv's category in my league weekly. Anyways, I am Bull on Anderson long term, even if this season isn't the best but if I get him, I'd probably want to keep him as his future value is very high.

Questions:
Do you think Anderson is an upgrade this season from Chad Johnson? (Yes, Johnson has had a good year so far except past few games)
Do you think Anderson would be a keeper over Ryan Getslaf? (There's no chance I do the deal if I can't keep Anderson)

Also: League has a 3 goalie carry maximum w/ exception for Injury

1) Andersen is a huge upgrade over Johnson, the reason - being the undisputed starting goalie for his team.

2) Andersen as keeper holds more value than Getzlaf in my opinion - Centers are easier to replace than starting goalies are. I would lose no sleep whatsoever from having to keep Brayden Schenn over Getzlaf as a keeper.

The 3 goalie carry max definitely means you want to have full starters, and not anyone that's timesharing.

Okay, just sent an offer in: Johnson + 3rd pick for Anderson + 6th pick. He's dead last so its more like a 5th pick anyways... Hope he takes it!

Do you think I should have offered less or do you think I need to offer more on this?

I'd go as far as to offer getz straight up for Andersen.

If the guy is tanking, however, he must be thinking rebuild. I doubt he looks to take on a 31 year old centre in. Exchange for a 27 year old #1 goalie next year. He probably counters asking for Panarin.

Getting Andersen is a good idea, but you need to give him more with future value if he's tanking. Johnson, pick upgrade, and someone young.

I've tried offering Schneider straight up for Andersen in one pool and Bishop in another... I'm not getting bites. Toronto's on the rise and the owners are holding tight. I wouldn't be surprised if he says Getzlaf ++

Yes, Johnson is definitely not even someone worth trading at the moment. Where do you think a good place to start would be? My 1st or 2nd pick? Arvidsson?

The way I look at it, he definitely has enough goalies and will not be able to keep 3. Bishop should find a home and Schneider should be a good #2. He has an expendable goalie. He needs picks for next season as this is a keep 8. A prospect may not crack his top 8 keepers this year?
