It's a small enough downgrade in net to grab you a multi-cat stud, even if they are on the wrong side of 30. What are your forward stats?
All in all though that looks like a great trade to me.
In a h2h dynasty with W, SO, GAA, SV% I've got holtby and rask. I've been in trade talks with the talbot owner about getting byfuglien or pavelski, he has been trying to get rask from me. My question is, going forward would that be a huge downgrade in net? The last 2 seasons talbot has had marginally better GAA and SV% each season... thoughts? The trade would probably be something like my rask and Markov for his talbot and byfuglien. Ultimately I'm just wondering if this will hurt my goalie stats going forward?

(No I don't have a hockey problem...)
I think I prefer Pavelski of thee two, but it depends on how many forward categories you have. If it's not just points, the deal looks pretty good.

So should I target pavelski or buff?
What does the rest of your team look like?
Experience is the teacher of all things.
My team includes Crosby, Malkin, kesler, turris, wheeler, schenn, skinner, staal, Nash, Markov, burns, Schultz, Carlson, letang, holtby, rask, Howard among others.
Then I'd do Markov and Rask for Talbot and Byuf

If you get Buff, you have a killer D.
HTH Daily League, 8 teams, (goals, ppp, +/-, assists, SOG, W, GAA, SV%) keepers in Bold.
C (s3) EP40, Trocheck, Marchessault LW, Horvat
LW (s3) Johnny Hockey, Parise, Terivinen RW, Meier RW
RW(s3) Wheeler C, Taresenko, Atkinson, Gallagher
Until(s1)
D (s4) Carlson, Yandle, Jones, Trouba
G Dubnyk, Rittich, Markstrom, Binnington
IR Ehlers, Hall
Thanks, targeting buff it is then.
