Do any of you think that he may never regain his starter status with the Lightning, let alone suit up in a Bolts jersey again at this point?

The 4 week mark brings us towards the end of January if all goes well in his recovery; about 1 month before the trade deadline. I'm thinking if Vas strings up a bunch of wins and plays well during his absence, there is no reason for them to use Bishop again unless they want to show other teams that he is healthy, boosting back his perceived value to potential trading partners. Then again, if Vasilevskyi struggles in the next month or so, all bets are off. FWIW, I like his chances here.

Any news on him? 3-4 weeks brings us to JAN.15th?

5 goals tonight on 18 shots for Vas... I guess Bish can take his job back in a hurry when he's ready!

    from roto today
The Tampa Bay Lightning are looking to their mid-January California trip as Ben Bishop's (lower body) potential return date.
Advice: Tampa Bay will play in Los Angeles on Jan. 16, Anaheim on Jan. 17, and San Jose on Jan. 19. Bishop hasn't been able to play since Dec. 20 due to his injury. He has a 2.79 GAA and .907 save percentage in 22 games this season.
