EDIT : Forgot to mention vandalay's now a 2 time champ. What a winner! And me and reeveta usually don't both finish high in the same year. One of these days we'll win one of these... but at least now we both can rock a not-bottom-10 finish!

Thank you all for participating, it's always a blast, and a fun little way to keep track of what is happening with prospects and the WJC. See you all next year (with more, I hope!)

Just when I was looking for something interesting to do to close out lunch! (* = unpicked in the pool)

Kaprizov (12) RUS - Captain or Nylander (12) SWE - Captain

    F (84)
    Vorobyov (10) RUS
    Barzal (9) CAN
    White (8) USA
    Greenway (8) USA *
    Gauthier (7) CAN
    Hischier (7) SUI
    Cirelli (7) CAN *
    Guryanov (7) RUS
    Terry (7) USA *
    Grundstrom (7) SWE
    Asplund (7) SWE
Dahlen (6) SWE (I'm sure there are other options here...)

    D (39)
    Chabot (10) CAN - D
    Rykov (7) RUS - D
    Siegenthaler (6) SUI - D *
    McAvoy (6) USA - D
    Clague (6) CAN - D *
Zboril (4) - CZE - D (lots of other options here - 5 guys for 4 poins - but Fox and Kylington were on big scoring teams, and Hronek was unpicked. Saarjijarvi has 4, but 1 seems to have been from relegation.

    G (20)
    Samsonov (10) RUS - G
    Parsons (10) USA (G)

5 CAN, 5 USA, 5 RUS (if Kaprizov), 3 SWE (if Kaprizov picked), 2 Swiss, 1 CZE.

    Totals 145 points.

Convenient that there are tons of options for the 6th D and 12th F, and that no country ran the leaderboards with pickables.

The Captain system is really good, as 5 of them hit the top 7 in scoring (Kaprizov, Nylander, Keller were top 3, then Strome tied for 4th, and Eriksson Ek was 7th. Can't remember who the other guy was... probably Finnish-ed low :P)
    UHL - Detroit Red Wings
    24 team H2H (W-:L) Dynasty - 3C/LW/RW/F, 6D, 1G.

Vorobyov is probably five years away from ever playing in the NHL but what say we start calling him Mickey 10 Dimes.

He PM'ed me a few weeks back looking to phase himself out. That said, he said he'd help me get started here and I haven't heard back.

I've been sick (+ Xenoblade Chronicles 2 consumed my life since it game out Dec 1st) and I don't come here often so I keep forgetting to check. I'll look into trying to put something together over the next few days.

Definitely intend to keep everything going, just a matter of carving out the time for the start-up bit (the bit reeveta usually does).

EDIT - That said, thanks to a busy past year I have no idea who to put on as the potential captains, so I am open to suggestions.

Hey nights, thanks for taking over. Been waiting for this to open up already. Only one place for me to climb for me to win it this year.
    Suggestions for captains...
    Fin-tolvanen
Swe-pettersson or nylander, if he winds up playing in the tournament. Maybe both.
    Can-steel or kyrou, maybe both.
    Usa-mittelstadt or Yamamoto, maybe both.
    Russia-kostin or svechnikov, maybe both.

If u wanna spice things up, make em all captains so there will be more variety among the other players.
And if u really wanna spice it up, make defence captains as well, since there r some dmen who will probably be on 90-100% of the teams. Just some ideas.
