    Default Drop Talbot for Murray?

Murray is a free agent and my goalie situation has been poor. Do I drop Talbot for Murray - i.e. security for volatility?

If not, I'd have to drop a skater and let everything play out. Don't know what to do.

I would given that I see them as being similar goalies who will earn some wins due solely to the fact they play on high scoring teams. However, Murray is younger and more likely to have fewer young guys busting his chops for ice time.

    16 team, points only. G: 2-W, 4-SO.
    Top 9F, 4D & 1G . Keep 15, Max 23

    D: Bouchard, McAvoy, Morrissey, Heiskanen
    G: Vasilevskiy

take the ELITE security, and nab Murray before the rest of your league wakes up... Pitts has a much better team D than Edm, making his #'s better. even if he loses a 10-15 starts to Talbot, he'll give more quality starts. Pitt being a better team = more wins, more SO...

    make the move.

I like Schnieds.. He lacks a little in the W category, but will give you solid cats otherwise. he can steal a couple SO's on talent alone. Murray is elite in waiting. Rinne is a solid 3rd option.

In an 8 team league you probably sit with mid level goaltending 4/5ish range. but Murray really shores up some cats vs. Talbot, he'll lower you GA a fair amount.

We'll see....How does it compare to other goaltending platoons of the other 7 teams.

Team 1: Lundy, Jones, Darling, Johnson
    Team 2: Crawford, Dubnyk, Halak
    Team 3: Price, Allen, Andersen
    Team 4: Rask, Bishop, Mrazek
    Team 5: Holtby, Lehner, Elliot
    Team 6: Bobrovsky, Gibson, Raanta
Team 7: MAF, Anderson, Luongo, Quick
