I generally believe people shouldnt leave dog shit laying around, but in this case you should move along and let someone else deal with that steaming pile.
Someone just dropped him probably cuz of the whooping the avs took tonight. Is he worth a pickup over any of my goalies?

Nope... Fleury is also struggling but you're swapping one problem for another
Experience is the teacher of all things.
Varlamov is NOT an upgrade to any of your goalies.

No, and I'm sure there is not a starting goalie in the NHL who Varlamov is an upgrade over right now, except maybe Budaj. There are at least a half-dozen (and probably more) backups or tandem guys I take over him, including Pickard on his own team.

You can never have enough goalie options in a H2H league that has a SAVES category. I would pick Varlamov up and drop one of your centres to do so.
With your settings Bryan Little is never going to see your weekly roster. Not with all of the, specifically, C's you have in front of him. It is a start 2C weekly league. Even with the 2F spots you have each week Bryan Little will not beat out your depth.
Varlamov is a 'proven' workhorse goaltender. You might not roster him with the goalies that you have but, as fickle fickleness goes, you just might need the starts later in the season. Talbot is your number 1. Fluery, Hellebuyck have not locked up your number 2. I can envision a scenario that sees you starting Varlamov over those two. Fickle world guarding that cage! With SAVES as one of the four goalies cats (1/4 : 25%) and goalie cats as four of your fourteen team cats (4/14 : 29%) Varlamov's presence on your bench is more valuable to your team than having a 5th centre. Ride him out for a stretch as you aren't risking much. It's always possible to drop him for a streaking skater later in the season if it improves your team.
