Drop Budaj for Mason or Johnson?
My 3rd G is Budaj. Should I drop him and pick up Chad Johnson? Can Calgary keep up with their good defensive system? Steve Mason is also available. What would you do? Thanks!

The Budaj thing could end any time given that Zatkoff is the guy they have under contract next year, they're scouring the trade market and Quick will be back in Jan/Feb. And he could just start being garbage on a regular basis.
I would go with Mason probably for right now - he's on fire and theres much more certainty to him than Johnson.
I love seeing what Johnson is doing but two bad starts and it could all be over for him again.
TLDR: Grab Mason.

I would drop Budaj and Palat for Johnson and Mason.

Can't say I'm thrilled with any of those options given they all have credible backups waiting or close to returning, so the leash will be short.
If I had to pick one I'd probably take Mason since he has a weaker backup and they play in a less competitive division.

I'd go Johnson over Mason. I am soldily in the minority, I know. I feel that Neuwirth is more likely to take a significant chunk of starts from Mason than Elliott is from Johnson at this point.
We've seen what the Flyers are doing, and once Mason gets hurt or craps the bed, Neuwirth will be in for more starts, even though he hasn't been good this year. Which brings it back to a tandem. It's only not a tandem now due to injury.
Johnson has taken the job from the presumed starter with very good play, helped by the fact that Elliott is one of the bottom 3 or 4 goalies in the league right now, and Elliott has no moments with Calgary like Neuwirth had with the Flyers in last year's playoffs.
To be honest, I'd probably grab both, ride Mason while he is hot, then deal him.
