Ridiculous. Huberdeau is injured, a ton of offseason changes.
You can easily argue that those issues ^^ meant Gallant should have been given a longer rope.
But the Panthers are back to looking like a joke. They were doing a solid, solid job rebuilding and have started overthinking the hell out of it. Brutal

I think they downgraded their GM with the Tallon move, and now they have downgraded their coach, and re-downgraded their GM, since it's now the SAME GUY.

I think next time we do the "Which will be the first coach to get fired" thread everyone should touch up their knowledge of which NHL franchises changed ownership. Seems some of those guys come in and are just waiting for a chance to throw the coach under the bus.

Interesting that Dreger says that the Gallant firing is rubbing a lot of people the wrong way.

I wonder how hard he is going to try.
Something feels very fishy, IMO, about Viola/Cifu owned Panthers.
Maybe the end-game is to come across as inadequate hockey-owners.
