As a Hellebuyck owner I would not trade him in a 2:1 or 3:1 deal and would look for quality back. Agree OEL is too steep - and would look to work around Risto (would not trade him for Pastrnak either). If you do acquire a goalie you should be able to move one of your other goalies to another team in a package deal. In a 12 team league you would have some pretty interesting assets for at least a few teams .

Would you be able to get both Andersen and Hellebuyck? You could then move Varly, Lehner and Reimer and have a pretty decent core assuming Pickard is able to emerge as a starter. Reason I would look to do this is that 5 of your 8 scoring categories are related to the Goalies. Both Anderesen and Hellebuyck are likely at their lowest buy value that they will have over next 3-5 years...

So I made an offer of Ristolainen, Pastrnak, and Reimer for Palat and Helle.

The other owner countered with Andersen and Palat instead of Helle as he wants to be able to rookie keep Helle.

I could please use some opinions on both trades. Is that fair value for Andersen? Should I fight for Helle or is Andersen more than reasonable here?

    Thank you!

Quick bump. The other owner is hounding me with messages.

    Thank you!

If he's hounding you with messages, that makes me think he's desperate. Hold out for Helle and see how he responds

Good call. I will try to hold out for Helle, but I'm kinda desperate myself with the Lehner Injury and Reimer/Florida not looking nearly as good this year.

I understand that, in most peoples minds, Helle is better own over Andersen. However, do you think Risto + Pasta for Andersen + Palat is a reasonable trade?

I don't know a lot about the Andersen's ceiling or ability going into the future, at least compared to how highly Hellboy is spoken of.

Getting Andersen and Palat is definitely reasonable IMO

    Thanks for your thoughts ween.

Any other opinions before I accept/reject? (leaning towards probably accepting, though it hurts to lose Risto and Pastrnak).

I think both are fair, but Ullmark also just got sent back down, so I think Lehner should be fine. Don't panic into getting a goalie if you don't feel you need to.

The final trade ended up being Ristolainen and Reimer for Andersen (Reimer was a throw in as I would have had to drop him anyways).

Thank you to everyone for all the valuable input, it helped me tremendously.

I like that deal for you better than most of what you had posted earlier. No OEL or Pastrnak leaving.

    Thanks, Steve.

It sucks to lose Ristolainen, but I needed an Andersen seems solid. Besides, I do have Karlsson, OEL, Seabrook, and M. Rielly as D keeper options.

Sat Helly tonight against CHI.. And of course, on the way to another Shutout. I'm obviously clueless about how to manage this guy on my roster. Find out what I'm doing with Helly each game, do the opposite, and you're sure to have a fantasy stud.

He had very little work until the 3rd period when Chicago made a small push. Not many grade A chances for the Hawks. Darling on the other hand made 3 break away stops and made more tougher stops.
