Maybe Niemi or Halak would be as far as I would go to grab him.

To me it depends on how many teams are in your league and in dynasty it depends on my team. I picked him up in my 12 dynasty and he's saved my can. In a yearly I'd drop Niemi Kari (He has to go back to getting shelled regularly) Halak Gibby.

I think he is for real, as these numbers aren't really that far off what he has done before, but he's not worth dropping any of your 4 goalies.

Who I would drop for him would depend on league structure, especially categories, and what role you need him to fill.

Okay, I thought it was a double-pronged question. you were asking, both "Who was the best goalie we'd drop?", and "Should you drop one of your four goalies?".

I'd say the top goalies I'd drop for him is probably Gibson based on what I perceive the value is generally. Others below that would be Fleury, Elliott, Ward, Mason, or the Dal/NYI/Van tandems among others, so while I'd drop them as well, I figure that's sort of obvious. I wouldn't drop Bishop for him just yet.

Is he the #1 G in Calgary, that's the real question (75% of start). If yes I would drop any goalie in team splitting the starts.

My opinion as well....was going to start my own thread just to pump Johnsons tires. Man he's been GREAT when he played with Bruins, even last year with Sabres. No reason to believe it isn't possible that he is the next Dubnyk. I just don't understand it tho....cause Calgary WAS sh#t.
