What the hell is going on with Bishop??

You have two of the top (possibly 3) goalies in the league in Bishop and Holtby. You should not worry.
He's currently going through a rough patch, but it happens to everyone.

I'm in the same boat. Didn't think Bishop would be so bad this year. I expected Vasilevskiy to take away some starts, but if Bishop keeps s hitting the bed, it will be buh bye Bishop.

I watched the Atkinson goal tonight (on an egregious Hedman turnover) and Bishop just seemed disinterested if I read his body language correctly. I'm very concerned, but as you said, he's worth nothing right now, so best buckle up and ride it out and hope for a turnaround.

Holtby is your future in goal.

Bishop is a pretty good goalie, and even in this down year, has a roughly average save percentage, and is right around average in some of the advanced stats. His value is down, but he's far from worthless. You want worthless, check out Fleury, Mason, and Elliott.

No im not at all bitter because I wouldn't want him. I've always felt he was overrated in Tampa. Bishop is a system goalie. He's fine, but not somebody I would want if I don't have a great team and system already.

He has been awful to start the year and will not be on Tampa to end the year. So anyone adding him is just speculating where he will end up and how he will do on the new team. He got outplayed and lost his job in Tampa. He loses all
value if he's traded to another team like Dallas.

Stud? I disagree. I don't think he's average, but he's not a top 3 goalie. He's like in the 8-15 range, in terms of talent. Vasy can easily do what Bishop has done and is proving that.

At this point, I value Vasilevskiy more than Bishop. Seems to me that they are relying more on Vasy and less on Bishop as the season progresses, and it is just a matter of time before Bishop is traded.

That said, I still think Bishop is a decent (slightly-above average) goalie and he should have value going forward, as long as he is traded to a team on which he is the clear #1 and no longer has a goalie like Vasilevskiy stealing starts from him.

As for the OP, just hang tight. Holtby is, imo, the #2 goalie to own in fantasy hockey, and I doubt you will be able to trade Bishop for an upgrade considering his production so far this season. Maybe you will get lucky and see him traded sooner than later.
