this year - Johnson/Andersen/Varlamov

Hey,

I'm in a keeper league where we start 2 goalies and just track wins (+2pts) & shutouts (+3pts). My question is just for this year.

I have Holtby in my #1 spot, and my #2 spot has been switching between Andersen and Varlamov - who have both been getting me next to nothing (2 pts in last week, 6pts in last 2 weeks). Then i have Johnson on my farm team who is outperforming them both. My question is, for the next month/few months/rest of this year - what is Johnson's usage expected to be behind Elliot? He seems to be outperforming Elliot but I'm not sure how many starts he will get. Which goalie of the 3 would you start?

This needs to be taken on a week-to-week basis. I would start Johnson right now. I would put in Andersen at the first sign of Johnson faltering or Elliott getting starts, unless Andersen and the Leafs are slumping (then I'd put in Varly)

Support this notion 100%. Makes sense.

I would try to avoid Varly as much as possible.

Thanks, This makes sense.. I'll ride with Johnson until I hear/see Elliot getting the starts or Andersen/Varlamov go on a tear of their own. Hopefully one of them puts together a solid run, we only have a limited # of swaps per year!
