Cut Losses with Boone?
1st league in sig. It's early but Boone is under performing. Was offered a 5th round pick which is where I drafted him (reached a little for him in retrospect). I could possibly squeeze out a 4th rounder and get back whatever player the GM was going to drop as well.
EDIT: The player being dropped is Kadri.

I am worried about him though (In fact I'm worried about anyone coached by Torts). You're not likely going to get fair value for him unless he turns things around.

I would trade Jenner for a 4th or 5th and Kadri.
The only real advantage I see with Jenner would be hits, but Kadri hits too. I think the rest of the stats will be similar.
Jenner won't be a keeper for you next year (I wouldn't suspect) so to get a pick and a player who will give you similar stats in my mind is a good deal

Hold him. He should be OK, unless Torts has decided that Jenner is his "designated mind-f*ck/player I am going to run out of town" for the season. This is why I stay away from Columbus players since Tortorella arrived.

Rarely do I look at the advice this site gives me and go against the grain. Saying that the Torts factor is something I didn't even think about so that made me more convinced this is an OK deal so thanks in that regard! I reached for Boone in the draft to begin with and will end up with a higher draft pick than where I got him.

I do not have a source, but I recall reading various blurbs about Torts getting the kids playing time and moving the lines around as such. They had a bunch of youth break camp and I am sure they are trying to get a look at them. The lines will sort out later in the season.
