I always find when I try and spot start that I pick the wrong ones so I tend to start all and hope for the best
How do you guys approach goalies with difficult matchups? For example, I have Varlamov playing at Washington tomorrow.
Also, my other two goalies are Rask and Steve Mason, and I'm not loving my situation. Any opinions who I should acquire?

Experience is the teacher of all things.
Acquiring players is all about value vs cost. It also depends on knowing your league settings, and how big your league is.
Varlamov against WSH is not an ideal matchup, but if GAA and sv% is out of reach and you're chasing wins, then start him. Really depends on situation.

I'm up 3-1 in wins, hold slim lead in SV%, but trail just a bit in GAA. I'm thinking I should bench him.
In that case I probably sit him. You can win GAA from another goalie. This isn't the ideal matchup for GAA.
