Corey Crawford injured?
Scott Darling faced 36 shots and turned away 33 in the Blackhawks 5-3 victory over the Nashville Predators Saturday night.
"With Corey Crawford out with an injury" it was imperative that Darling stand tall between the pipes. He did just that to stop 15 of the 16 Predator shots in the first period including some point blank bullets. The Predators outshot the Blackhawks 16-8 in that period and held that advantage in the second as well at 12-8, causing Darling to make another couple of incredible saves over Craig Smith and Colin Wilson, who nevertheless managed to score two of the Preds goals over the course of the contest. Matters settled down in the third with the Blackhawks gaining an 11-8 advantage in shots. Darling let one of these pass by Viktor Arvidsson, but still ended the night with a .917 save percentage.
I haven't heard anything about him being injured

I've seen the same from Rotoworld, but haven't seen it anywhere else, including Chicago's news page on their official website. Though on another site (can't remember which) it said Crawford was getting a day off so I wonder if Rotoworld got caught making an assumption without fact checking. It wouldn't be the first time.

I haven't heard it anywhere else either. It was just a back to back, that's really why Darling was playing. Crawford was on the bench too, so I agree that rotoworld most likely just jumped the gun.
