I totally understand teams being extra cautious about who to protect, but it seems like all teams are jockying for position on Goalies to expose as if every single exposed goalie will be selected. Is there a limit to how many players at any given position can be taken?
And how do they fill their minor league system? (maybe this is a question for another thread). I just don't know the answer.
I'd imagine the Penguins will have to put Mike Condon on waivers when Matt Murray, who practiced today, returns to the lineup. Just saying.

Bingo! Rep for you. I think the waived player option is going to be the first solution the Kings try. Quick has opted not to have surgery at this point (which should shorten his timetable for return, in theory), and I dont see the Kings making any radical moves. Let's see what Budaj does in his first start, he was the best G in the AHL last year and is capable of holding down the fort for a couple of weeks until someone decent goes on waivers. Remember, the Kings have no cap space and IMO dont really want to move any important draft picks for a stopgap goalie.
