I was under the impression that they might be concealing an injury behind his ''flu'' but when they said he was on antibiotics, I figured it may actually be the flu or an STD (less likely but still possible).
Saw some footage from practice this morning. He didn't take shots; just skate around and stretched a bit. I heard he lasted only 30mins.

Someone correct me if I am wrong but aren't antibiotics useless against the flu (which is caused by a virus)? I fully admit I may have this wrong but when I heard the "flu" explanation and then that he was on antibiotics I automatically thought they were covering something potentially larger up (although likely not too much larger since he is skating). I am putting money on the STD theory...............

Not many STDs out there that would prevent you from playing in a hockey game... Unless they are extremely mismanaged and I assume that Price has access to world class health care.

Yeah. They don't give you antibiotics for the flu.
Antivirals MIGHT be effective, but they are slow acting so they aren't normally given for a flu as the flu normally runs its course before the antiviral really kicks in.
