He's projected as a top 10 goalie or just outside according to FHG in many of my draft formats. Is this warranted? Something about his small sample size just scares me. Thoughts?

He's been around for a while, and is playing on a team with good defence, and went on that crazy run with minny a couple years ago. Kuemper may steal a couple starts, but duby is the golden boy there and can string together lots of W's. and I'd put him somewhere around 8-10

With the defense in Minnesota all returning from last season where 5 of the starting 6 were under the age of 26 and Mike Yeo being replaced by Bruce Boudreau, Minnesota should be one of the top defensive teams in the NHL this season. The only goaltending stat that Dubnyk won't excel at this year will be saves as Minnesota likely won't give up enough shots for him to be in the top 10 in the league in that. He should be near the top 5 in Wins, SV%, GAA and SO.

Agree with the other, he's done enough on decent teams to show us what he is, and Minny should be better defensively than last year. I think around 10 is right, but definitely no higher than 8.

I agree 100% with the concern, he has been given opportunities on Edm, Nash, Mtl, and performed so poorly he was moved to the AHL, yet did show excellent numbers in his brief time with Minny behind a solid defensive structure.

With BB now behind the bench, he is prone to swapping goalies at random, and plays an very disorganized offensive style...something Dubnyk has proven to perform very poorly in that style of team play.

Count me on the skeptical side with decent potential for success, but if he does keep #1 goalie gig his numbers will inflate this year with the new offensive system the Wild plan to play.
