Default Pick 2 for third/fourth goalie:

Who do I take for my third and fourth goalie?

    1) Niemi
    2) Mason
    3) Talbot

I'm leaning towards Talbot and Mason.

    My other goalies:
    1) Price
    2) Gibson

    Scoring categories:
    GS, W, L, GAA, SV%, SA, SO

I would take Talbot then Mason in that order. Talbot is the starter and Edmonton show signs of having a good year. Mason's starter job in Philly is his for the taking or losing. Niemi will be splitting starts with Lehtonen, and actually due to his poor performance last year did not even play half of Dallas's games. Niemi may arguably be the best goalie of the three but unless he gets traded to a team where he will be a starter I would steer clear for now.

OK, great! Thats pretty much the exact thought process I had going into the draft earlier today. I snagged Talbot in the 14th round and then I grabbed Mason in the 19th as insurance incase the Talbot experiment doesn't work out. Seems like every site i've looked at has Talbot anywhere from a decent number 2 option to an unranked bum who should be left to FA until he proves otherwise. Same kinda story with Mason actually. Niemi was in FA after the draft and it got me thinking about him as an alternative. Thanks for the input!

You've heard this already, but just in case you want more reassurance:
Talbot, confirmed starter on an up and coming team.
Mason, confirmed starter on a fringe playoff team.
Niemi, part time goalie on a high offence, forget about defense team. They will get Wins, but Lehtonen will get more starts.
