Talk about Devil and the Deep blue sea!
Personally i go Elliott by a hair - Greiss is a bigger threat than Johnson and Halak just seems to have more serious injuries
I've been pondering this for a week trying to decide which to keep. Brian Elliott or Jaro Halak. Any ideas or advice is appreciated.
Thanks

Thanks. So I'm going to roll the dice with Elliott. I've had Halak for years and sometimes change is good, so talented yet so injury prone.
Looks like your mind is made up already, but I was going to vote the other way.
Elliott has his own injury woes, and I would rather have Halak all things being equal.

The injury woes cancel out. Halak is on the better team, and Elliott is the better goalie.
I go for talent over teams in this case, so chalk me up for a vote on the Elliott side.

(No I don't have a hockey problem...)
It will be interesting to see how well Elliott does away from STL.
I don't trust either to say healthy for the whole season so I'll gamble on Halak here.

I think tats a given but I do wonder how much of Elliott's missed time is more due to having to wrestle the net back after injury which I don't think will be the case with the Flames
