There is a chance he make the Stars opening day roster considering Dallas thin Defense.

I read somewhere that he has more skills than Klingberg. Is that even possible??? What do you guys think??

Not likely making the opening day roster, could get call-ups during the season.

Definitely not more skilled than Klingberg. Could be a solid 2nd pair offensive 'D'.

I think he is more of an offensive specialist as a d man, and maybe there are things he is more skilled at than Klingberg, but that doesn't make him a ba petter player not does it mean he have a bigger impact

biggest question here is what did he cost you?
Experience is the teacher of all things.

I just picked him off waiver. Always gems you can find for offensive dmen - they get drafted later and get forgotten. What you said is exactly why i like him - I think his ceiling for offensive production is quite high if he can manage not to be a defensive liability (he's small) - which is great for my type of league.

He's not going to contribute much, if at all this year.

I personally still like him as an offensive weapon behind Klingberg going forward.

I wouldn't worry about him being a defensive liability. He's been just fine in the AHL, and smaller, skating D are becoming the new normal in the NHL.

    1. Not likely, he needs more AHL time. Also Lindell is currently ahead of him. But in time he will be a great puck mover and may possibly get on that #1 PP in time
