For me it comes down to Ekholm or Sekera.

I think Sekera still logs big minutes and most likely PP1 for Edmonton. Ekholm really played well after Jones was traded.

If I had to gamble I'd probably go with Ekholm but I think Sekera will be close behind him.

    Ekholm for me.
I actually think Myers is in for a big year after the hip surgery, and Sekera is a reliable choice.

If - and it's an if - Trouba gets traded, Myers could sneak up and be the best of the bunch. Otherwise, I'd go with Ekholm. Dumba is the feast or famine pick, as I think this season he either gets 30ish points or over 40, with little room for in between. It mainly depends on whether he steps up and makes it so Minny has no choice but to put him out there more.

Another vote for Ekholm but I am intrigued as to where Dumba slots in next year and would be my sleeper pick

I'm just here to pick the "Dumb" answer. Teehee.
Love the Myers potential per RD - pretty sharp note.
I'll go with Sekera - as I think he has the tools to run the EDM PP1 - and the upside there is massive.

That is who I went with. A bit nervous about Klefbom/Larsson taking over, but I still think he will be given a chance at the lions share of PP time, and as you say the upside is huge.

Now I am trying to decide between Dumba and Meyers (Ekholm was taken).

Dumba then.. Personally I think there is higher upside with Budreau coming in

Myers is what he is IMO

I see Dumba as possibly having an Ehrhoff trajectory - sort of one dimensional in the beginning, but a very good one dimension. Then over time his all-around game molds into form. Of course the risk is he takes a Cam Barker or MDZ trajectory instead. But I'd still probably go with Myers if you're more win now mode and absolutely must count on 35 points from the slot, since Myers should give you that but probably not much more even if Trouba gets moved and he stays healthy.
