I don't need to add anything to this conversation.

So instead...Fantasy hockey is almost here!

I mean this is true. The deal was described pretty poorly.

But Dal Colle and Draisatl aren't in the same conversation, just comparing those two players.

It's described poorly and by design. The picks aren't like 1, 2 or 3 overall. More like a 12th and a 5th rounder (11 teams, 13 rounds). The reason I didn't include them it's because they don't really matter... I'm comfortable with my actual picks but it's always nice to upgrade. In this case, the "downgrade" to my "upgrade" when everything is said and done is Draisaitl vs Dal Colle (those are the pieces that would be left after this year). I'm pretty high on Draisaitl (I trade for the 1st overall to grab him) and I wan't to see if my "vision" of Dal Colle was "on par" or if I was looking at Draisaitl with pink glasses...

Anyhow, thanks everyone for the feedback. Really appreciated!

There's nothing in this for you. It's not like Draisaitl is 38 years old. He's 20.

Also, I agree with the rest of the people, I'd stick with what you have.
I'm also going with the consensus taking Draisaitl. Dal Colle's been a highly touted prospect for a few years now, but his stock has been dropping and he hasn't even made it to the big leagues yet. He got left off the last world jr's squad after a dismal start to the OHL season. He's got all the tools to be a power forward in the NHL, but he hasn't even come close to fruition yet.

...and there I was hoping to read this thread and there be at least one vote for Dal Colle so I could reference the Draisatl owner to it when I offer him my Dal Colle lol

I think Dal Colle is gonna be a stud. I'd have no hesitation trading Draisatl for him.

Just to add the conversation, I see Dal Colle slipping behind both Barzal and Ho Sang in the pecking order and right now there may not be room for either of them on this years roster.

    Drai ainec.

Every year, MDC falls in terms of prospect rankings and it's looking more like his ceiling is a decent middle six player. Definitely not what you want when you are swinging for the fences with prospects.

it took me 2 years to spell draisaitl properly without having to google it

straight up , its not even close at this juncture - leon all the way and the draft picks would have to be pretty good to make up the difference.
