The trade that keeps snowballing outta control
Team and scoring in signature.
I needed a left wing and the Patches G/M was willing to talk trade.
He wants to rebuild with a cornerstone goalie.
After many discussions the trade on the table became:
Holtby, (drops Phaneuf, Kinkad, Carter) my 1st round pick next draft
I get : Patches, Reimer, Klingberg, Matthews) his 12th round pick.
I still have to drop another player or come a across a 2 for 1 trade.
He then said he would add Mackinnon but I would probably need to add my 2nd or 3rd round pick as well.
I feel I can recoup the draft picks as I'll have many quality players to move in the off season.
Thoughts ?

You start two goalies and have Crawford and MAF if you make this trade... I like it for you. Can you add MacKinnon and drop Reimer (as I don't see him getting much for time in Florida with Luongo being quicker to recover than expected) then move the pick to a later pick?

He's now thinking about switching Matthews out and adding Mackinnon in his place.
I'm waiting to see if he'll just add Mackinnon for another draft pick upgrade.
