Broken hand from the World Cup. It'll be interesting to see if this gives Fleury the chance to start hot and get a firmer hold on the #1 job.

so the real question is did he know this happened during the game and did he stay in out of seflishness which cost team NA from advancing? i've never broken my hand before but i would think it's pretty obvious if it happened...

Or maybe he had a tantrum in the dressing room after being pulled, punched a wall, and broke his hand. Happened to a friend of mine in a tournament when we were 15 or so. Different scenario, but tough to see him staying in the game with a broken hand.Originally Posted by praba

A buddy of mine said he broke his wrist while playing, got slashed and said it hurt very bad. When he got in the dressing room he put a ruler on it and wrapped it up in tape and played the rest of the game like that. Hockey players are tough and it wouldn't surprise me if he battled through it.

I'm also going to target Murray in my draft in that league, and hope that he falls enough to make it a worthwhile pick.

i have him as a keeper in the 20th round so no sense in dropping him but it could alter my plans for when i draft other goalies. I was counting on 30 games or so from him so I think that it still on point anyway.

May drop to 25 or so, but still not really a big problem, except for season start.
I think this will increase Fleury's value, maybe I can shop him around a bit. Somebody has to need a backup in my league.
