What do we expect out of him this year and going forward? Luongo is old, but is Reimer their goalie of the future?

I want to take a shot on him, is it worth dropping Brossoit for him, or keep the young guy and hope he starts for Edmonton when they start trending up?

I'd say 30-35 starts with a possibility for 45 if Luongo misses some time due to one injury or another.
I don't see him putting up the numbers he did last year for SV%, but he should still be a decent guy to have for a fantasy team (especially as a #3). I would definitely drop Brossoit for him.

I would want to handcuff him if I owned Luongo or as a 3rd goalie at best. I'm thinking he gets max 25% of the starts if Lou is healthy which should be around 20 games. Florida will be gunning for top spot this year and Luongo will be their backbone.

I don't know much about him, but Brossoit is a goalie prospect who is not imminently arriving to the NHL. Reimer is an NHL goalie who has shown talent and has a long-term contract, and an obvious path to starter's job. I think that's a drop/add move you make basically every time.

When Reimer got put on a good team and out from under the Toronto media.. he did nothing but shine! I'd take him. He might not be their goalie of the future, but he's a real good bet to fill a gap if they have one. or want to start platooning Lu
