Screen automatically moves to bottom of page

This has just begun happening to me yesterday. I'm on a page on the forum and without doing anything, the screen suddenly moves to the bottom of the page. When I try to move it back up, it just goes back down to the bottom (it is happening while I write this as well). Eventually it stops doing it, but it keeps happening regularly. There are no changes to my settings, I am using Chrome, and my anti-virus is up to date.

Has anyone experienced this before?

EDIT: I'll add that I'm on my laptop, and will check on the PC at work tomorrow if it continues. Also, it only happens on this site.

I was using safari on both my laptop and my mobile yesterday, and I didn't notice anything like that.

I am on my laptop, using Chrome, and so far so good for me. No issues here.

are you by chance hitting the space bar or your trackpad?

try using incognito/porn mode on chrome (ctrl + shift + N) and see if the issue persists. also try using another browser like firefox/IE to test. this will also check to make sure you don't have any plugins screwing things up.

if not it could be some sort of malware, i'd suggest downloading malwarebytes and hitman pro (both available for free) and doing a scan just in case.

Thanks for the suggestions. I've recently logged back on and it hasn't happened yet, so I'll give it a bit of time to see if the issue re-appears. I'll do some tests if it does come back.

It's happening again and I think I know why. There are these stupid auto play ads at the bottom, and there's one that is always the one showing when the redirect happens, probably built in to force you to see the ad.

Is there any way to stop this? I'm this close to getting an ad blocker.

This happens to me too. Not only is the scrolling to the bottom of the screen annoying, but it's an audio ad. I downloaded an Ad blocker on Firefox at home and now I only go to this site using it. I just can't deal with the stupid audio ads and screen jumps anymore.

Which ad blocker did you use? I don't know anything about them i.e. which ones are trustworthy etc.

I've noticed it happen on another site and it was the same ad, so there's something built in there that forces you to see it. P*sses me off this type of cr*p companies pull. Any ideas if different? I may have to go the ad blocker route as it's getting ridiculous. Annoying is that I don't visit sites like that (bank account switching) so it's not custom to my usage.
