Overpay what. You traded the best player in hockey. We told u goalie + potential elite+ A prospect and you got it. Will kill it in 2 or 3 years if not sooner

Better idea... if he wants Sid... let him start the bidding knowing it must include Allen as PART of the return.
I'm sticking to my previous comments about trading Sid/McDavid and the like.... -- I want to be left with that warm wet feeling running down my leg when I look at the offer, otherwise - I'm not moving him.
Overpay or he stays. Period. There is no fair when moving a top 5 superstar.
Edit: If I had Sid, Allen & Kuch would not be enough. Not even close
Edit #2: I didn't see that the deal was done. He's got the warm, wet leg right now. Giddy he is with this deal... Sorry, but you I take the Sid side every time and run here.

He asked nicely, so not upset.
As it was he has agreed to switch out Soderberg for a prospect and we look to have settled on
My Crosby + K Kapanen for his Allen+Kucherov+Strome
Just waiting for his final nod.
Edit: He gave the final nod and that was the deal. Some may feel I didn't get value for Crosby but I had a good run with him on my team and I am happy with the trade.
