    i trade away tyler seguin

I just traded seguin away and received MacKinnon, Forsberg and Meier.

I would say your trade is similar. It has one more piece and not as good of top end potential as Mackinnon or Forsberg. So I would say it's good.

it's a nice offer but I bet you could get more. I'd rather penguinhunters deal cause like he said there's a bit more high end guys involved.
id take that as a very good starting point for a trade.

I'd take that deal & run. I'd think Seth Jones would be the safe choice between him & EL.

I would take Jones over EL, but my question is would you have to drop anyone? I mean in that case the quantity loses a lot of its shine!

    Agree with eskimo

who would you have to drop to keep all those players coming back?

Johansen Huberdeau Jones and 12 for Seguin drop#1 and drop #2 is how I think you have to look at it.

And its hard to value #12 as not sure how many teams and keepers

I think it boils down to a few factors

do you have the roster space for a quantity deal ?

Is the improvement in quantity worth the loss in quality, ie you can "backfill" the open slots in your roster with less than ideal candidates who will still produce numbers.

So TS and whatever you have
    vs
    Johansen, Huberdeau etc

who are the other players on the roster you are upgrading from ?
Consider Sim Hockey because guys who play shutdown minutes, deflect shots and clear creases build championships. Yet in fantasy they litter the unwanted UFA lists.

How many positional players per night? If this is to fill your bench with depth and you can't play everyone on a consistent basis, you're better off keeping Seguin, IMO
